Step1: Spring Aeration
Our aeration service allows your soil to loosen up and permit for better retention of water and circulation of air, creating the right environment for a deeper, stronger root system. Why is a deeper root system important? It helps your lawn survive a period of drought and particularly hot days. At Lawn Care Master we offer Core Aeration as a standalone service or as part of a package.

Step 2: Spring Fertilizer
Grass is a plant and too often the soil gets depleted of the much-need food that plant needs! Fertilizer is that plant food. It is important to get the right kind for your area and particularly for your lawn.

Step 3: Regular Maintenance
Cutting your lawn is good for it! And please, try not bag those cuttings. That is free food for your grass. Set your mower at 3” and leave it there all season. Your grass will grow deep, lush, thick, and happy! Ideally, you could mow your lawn one time a week, switching directions each time (give the grass a rest).  

Step 4: Regular Feedings
Every 6 weeks apply a small amount of weed and feed fertilizer and spread it throughout your lawn. Make sure it is much less than normally called for, as you do not want to burn out your lawn. Think of these as a snack for your lawn between big feasts in the Spring and in the Fall.

Step 5: Fall Aeration
It has been a full 2 seasons - water, foot traffic, and just the nature of our lawns - they are compacted again. Take the time to get it aerated and your lawn will repay you - big time!

Step 6: Fall Overseeding
This is a great time to fill in some spots, which hopefully you do not have. Take the time to overseed your lawn, and the seeds will have time to take root and begin filling in for a lush yard come spring time.

Step 7: Fall Fertilization
